My name is April Butler and I recently had my braids done at the Talilah Waajid Hair Salon in the historic West End district in
Atlanta,
Georgia. I was EXTREMLY satisfied with my service there at the salon. The staff was friendly, and my stylist Trivia was efficient, knowledgeable and treated me like I was a part of her own family! I felt at ease in the salon, everyone there had a very positive attitude, and before you left, you knew everyone’s name, like you just made some new friends. Getting braids is very tough because it is such a controversial hair style, some think it takes your hair out, others think it is healthy for your hair, but leaving the Talilah Waajid salon, I felt like I had definitely made the right choice for my hair. Of course, like everyone else, I was shocked by the price, but it is true that you definitely get what you pay for, and with the combination of great service, great people and a great style, I am definitely glad I did not go with the cheapest deal! The manager of the salon even let me try out a new type of protein hair that just arrived in the salon that morning, and it proved to be a great fit for my hair needs. I was amazed that I walked in a salon that would not even consider doing my hair without a consultation first, and (Monte) the stylist that did my consultation was very knowledgeable, informative and made me feel very comfortable about my upcoming appointment at the salon. All in all, I would just like to say that one person tells thousands, and I am definitely spreading the word about

Moving from NYC was a challange for me. Things are so different here in Atlanta. Finding a supermarket, a neighborhood bank, a nail salon and other necessities has taken me some time. I had been wearing hats and scarfs because I dreaded looking for a place to have my hair done.
I was approached by a man who must have noticed that I had locs under my hat. He said he was the manager of the Taliah Waajid Natural Hair Care Center in Atlanta. The photos on the business card he gave me looked good. He said that actual stylist at his salon did the styles on the card. He suggested I go to the website where I could get more information and see more of the stylist work. The man was very polite.
Because I was so busy with the move, I keep the card for over a month before I decided to go on the website. After viewing it, I called immediately. I was greeted on the telephone by a the man I met. He remembered me!! I was already sold on what I had read and saw on the website. The fact that he remembered me put the icing on the cake. I made my appointment for a consultation. Once at the salon I felt so comfortable with the stylist and their ability to service me that I asked to have my hair done that same day. The shampoo felt lovely and my locs look great. My stylist, Monte, throughly explained the ins and outs about my hair and upkeep and the products I needed. I made another appointment before I left. Everyone in the salon made me feel at home. I will be long-term customer.

Hi Taliah-
I recently started the transition process from chemically treated hair to natural. It has been six months. A friend told me about your products so I ordered a few to try online. It was so impressed that I went to your shop a few weeks ago to purchase some hair care products, and my husband also purchased some because of how I had been raving about them. I love your hair care products! I use the shampoo/conditioner, bodifier and lock-it up products. The lock-it is a miracle for me. I was having a hard time looking at the new growth & it works for my hair. It keeps my hair soft and I have not been experiencing very much shedding- almost none. You can’t even tell I have new growth when I put it on. My husband also uses the healing oyl. He is definitely noticing how soft his hair feels and it is not too oily. He said he does not see the dandruff that he used to experience.

I want you to know that the Lord led me to your website . I am excited about going from relaxed hair to my naturally intended grade. I have purchased your Black Earth hair products to begin the journey . While I wait for the perm to grow out of my hair,I wanted to know if I can I use the Crinkles and Curls daily? I have been using it wet and dry to braid my hair at night,and finger out in the morning. I want to transition correctly and need to know how often to use it without causing any damage. My hair feels great since I have started using your product.
