Designed to introduce you to the techniques that have help to make the Taliah Waajid name synonymous for professional natural hair, braiding and locking services. You will learn the Undetectable Extension technique and the Six Finger Tension TechniqueTM. This workshop is for those who want to learn the basic techniques that Taliah Waajid is known for and has used over more than 20 years in the industry. Once you have learned the basics, you will be taught intermediate techniques from those basic techniques. Once you have learned the intermediate techniques, you will be taught to integrate what you have learned into advance techniques for styling and maintenance.
This workshop is recommended for those who are looking to learn and improve on techniques for servicing and styling natural hair. Combing natural hair is the key to working with natural hair. You will learn proper, damage-free techniques for combing natural hair. Product information will also be taught. This workshop teaches what you need to know to start, maintain and style natural hair and locks. The Taliah Waajid Natural Hair Workshop will also cover techniques for hair that is difficult to lock. Hair cutting, straw sets, rod sets and twist sets will also be taught.
This workshop is designed for those who have already taken the Basic to Advance workshop or the complete Taliah Waajid Seminar. Important: This is an advance workshop. We will not teach any basic techniques in this workshop. If you are not proficient in the Taliah Waajid Undetectable Extension technique, this workshop is not for you. We suggest you take the Basic To Advance Workshop or the Natural Hair Workshop. In the Advance Natural Hair and Textured Weaving workshop you will learn advance techniques for styling and using textured extension hair. Advance techniques for lock extensions and repairs as well as covering balding and thinning areas. Alternative healthy weaving techniques and parting patterns will also be taught.
Bonus---You will meet Bob Johnson in person. Bob Johnson is Co-owner and the head of marketing for the TALIAH WAAJID Seminars. Bob Johnson will be sharing with you some of his techniques for growing your business through marketing.
