About the Show
Hello and Welcome
The World Natural Hair, Health & Beauty Show is the first and largest of its kind.
Our show offers the largest natural hair competitions, free consumer and professional workshops, hands-on professional workshops, national and international exhibitors,
the top natural hair care educators, Da Poet's Corner (tm), entertainment and so
much more. We are very proud of what our show offers.
The World Natural Hair, Health & Beauty Show was founded in the early 1990's by Taliah Waajid and
Bob Johnson of Braids, Weaves & Things Hair Salon.
The show creates a much needed arena for
professionals and consumers to come together to
learn and exchange information about natural hair
care, health & beauty. The first show was held inside
of a hotel ballroom and was shortly moved to the
Georgia International Convention Center on the outskirts of Atlanta, GA.
The show continues to grow as natural hair becomes an official choice for hair care. Consumers are looking for products and information and professionals are looking for products and education. We now hold the show in the heart of Downtown Atlanta. This has brought more visitors to the event because of the convenience of the MARTA train and bus transportation services. Now visitors not only enjoy all that is offered at the show, they can also enjoy all there is to do in the city of Atlanta once the show is over. We are happy that the show is continuing to grow. The natural hair movement is not only attracting those who are culturally aware, it is attracting those that want choices for hair care as well.
